Chat Etiquette in Trans Cam Rooms

Performers decide who stays in their room. These habits make you a welcome regular rather than someone who gets silenced.

Start With the Bio and Room Rules

Most performers put their name, the words they like to be described with, their tip menu and their rules in the bio or room subject. Read it before typing. If a pronoun or name is given there, use it.

Questions to Skip

• Personal medical or transition questions. They are private, and the bio will tell you whatever a performer wants shared.
• Demands for things that are not on the menu. Ask politely once; if the answer is no, that is the answer.
• Requests for contact outside the platform. Most rooms forbid it, and it removes the platform's protections from both of you.

Tipping Manners

Tip menus list token amounts and what each one asks for; goals pool everyone's tips toward a shared target. A tip is appreciation, not a contract. If you want something specific and agreed, a private show is the right format, and Chaturbate's help pages tell broadcasters to agree the details with the viewer before a private starts. Supporter on Chaturbate and Ultimate on Stripchat both let you tip without your username showing.

Moderators Are There for a Reason

Many rooms have moderators who can mute or remove viewers. Chaturbate performers can even give moderators and fan club members free tickets to ticket shows through apps. Follow their instructions, and do not argue rulings in public chat.

If Something Feels Wrong

Use the platform's report tools. Every performer on Chaturbate and Stripchat must be an ID-verified adult, and platforms act on reports.
